My Story

Picture it…

I’m 23, vacuuming a stairwell again. Mopping floors again. Cleaning up the not-so-appreciated gift the house cat left for me - again. Life was being drained from my soul!

I needed a change. But I have severe social anxiety (making basic conversation a nightmare for me), and college wasn’t an option after high school.

What could awkward, degreeless, introverted little me do?

I start Googling at-home jobs. I discovered copywriting. Cue the lightbulb moment!

My dream was always to be a writer, but I never pursued it. It’s not 1985. I have a computer, WiFi, and my mother’s stubborn spirit! I have options.

My at-home career is launched, and I knew one thing: I was going to make this work.

After lots of work, green tea, studying, and trial and error… I’ve landed jobs I’m proud of. I’ve worked with hardworking, six-figure women who applaud my writing and encourage me to go further.

My journey is far from over. But I’ve left my cleaning days behind and am living my dream of being a professional copywriter and lead gen expert!

My favorite meal: Does matcha green tea count?

My favorite people to follow on social media: Maria Wendt (the world's best biz coach) and Lucy Bedewi aka My Write Hand Woman (the copywriter who's my biggest inspiration).

Odd quirk: I love ASMR and can't write my best copy without it. My Watch Later list on YouTube consists of hundreds of ASMR videos to watch (or rather listen to) during work.

Someday I dream of: Travelling the world (specifically, Japan to drink traditional green tea) while helping out hundreds of women entrepreneurs from my laptop.

Guilty pleasure: Comics and superhero movies/shows. (Think Marvel and Star Wars.) Spiderman is my #1 favorite superhero!

When I'm not working, you'll find me: Studying, exercising to dance cardio, taking a walk for fresh air, or spending time with my spiritual family and besties.

The most important thing in the world to me: My relationship with my God Jehovah.

My first ever job: Housekeeper and daycare worker. (Yes, both!) Boy, do I have lots of stories to share about those days!
